Qur'anic Precepts
Regarding Parents
This your Lord has decreed for you:
Serve none but Him; to your parents be kind,
whether one or both spend their ripe years
with you; never, in impatience, say Uff
to them, nor chide them, but speak kindly,
showing respect;\lower upon them your wings
tenderly, wings of mercy; and pray thus,
‘My Lord, show them of your mercy, even
the same mercy they showed towards me
when yet little I was in their care.
Al-Isra' : 23-4
Against Denigration
Believers: no faction should denigrate another,the one could be better than you;
nor should women revile women,
the one could be better than you;
neither should anyone smear another
or condemn them with slurs. After faith,
such aberrations are a shame.
Al-Hujuraat: 49:11
